形態特徵

• Annual ascending herbs, to 50 cm tall; stems branched usually near base, usually with reddish dots, glabrous, nodes not enlarged.
• Leaves lanceolate to ovate, 5–8.5 cm long, 1.3–2.7 cm wide, both end acute to acuminate, upper surfaces glabrous to puberulous at veins, lower surface glandular, beneath midvein strigose; petioles ca. 1 cm long; ocreae tubular, 0.5–1 cm long, apex truncate, glabrous, upper margins with very short cilia.
• Inflorescences 3–6-flowered fascicles in spike-like panicles, terminal or axillary, moderately to densely flowered, interrupted below, 2–4 cm long; peduncles glandular pubescent, 1–2 cm long; bracts oblique funnelform, glabrous, apex acuminate, eciliate. Flowers greenish-white to pink; pedicels included; perianth segments 4–5, elliptic, 2–2.5 mm long, with few glands, apex obtuse, venation trifid and forked in two recurved branches; stamens 5–6; styles 2-cleft, included; nectaries present.
• Achenes dark brown, lenticular, smooth, weakly shining, ca. 2 mm long.

分布

• 台灣 : in grassy sunny places and waste grounds in lowlands.
• 世界 : Warmer regions of the N hemisphere.
